Tablet PC Software Application for Physical Therapy Released

With a tablet, you can easily be watching, instructing, etc. the patient, and entering data as you go along.  The screens work both on a UMPC (small tablet) as well as a larger screen, so your choice of tablets is open.

The software will do billing for you to create a 1500 form to upload to a clearinghouse.  All data is stored in either SQL Server or MS Access (sdk for developers) so there’s some opportunities here for integration as well.  As a matter of fact, inking forms from Active Ink have been incorporated into other medical systems as part of the overall package.  I see this as a perfect solution for the physical therapist on the move and having one tool and the software to do the entire job.  If you don’t want to write, you can also use speech recognition too.  BD
