“ABC Pediatrics of Ohio began using an EMR product, MedtuityEMR, to meet the needs of the practice with better documentation, billing and utilization of time.  We recently acquired a TPC from Motion Computing that has revolutionized the use of Medtuity in our office.  Our productivity is enhanced with a decrease in patient wait time by an average of 10 minutes a visit.   The TPC is light weight and easy to handle with a reduced glare screen making it easy to view in various lighting conditions.  We are able to show parents growth charts, vaccine records, lab results and view previous notes as the speed of the TPC is faster then the previously used laptop computer.  The software is excellent with great character recognition when using the digitizer pen in freestyle mode of writing.  My medical assistants are able to draw up immunizations, prepare for lab draws and deliver prescriptions to the room as I finish with the patient.  We also take the TPC when we are offsite at second office 60 miles away and intend on setting up connectivity for my homecare sites and local hospital.  I anticipate purchasing additional TPCs for my staff as the need arises.”
